COURT DOC: Federal Authorities Arrest 19 in Operation ‘Open Market’

Since on or about November 22, 2005, the Carder[.]su organization, a transnational criminal organization, has been engaged in large scale trafficking of compromised credit card account data and counterfeit instruments, such as counterfeit identification documents and counterfeit credit cards, as well as various types of computer crimes, including intrusion and hacking.

In March 2012, the U.S. Secret Service and U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcements Homeland Security Investigations arrested more than 19 members in ‘Operation Open Market,’ an investigation into the Carer.su organization, which operated principally out of Las Vegas and elsewhere.
